What are Cabin Kits?
Our cabin kits are actual custom-built full-log homes. These are not modular homes on a trailer, or a low-quality tongue and groove poplar “log cabin”. Ours are the real deal, made only with solid, kiln-dried red pine logs. The same construction methods we use on our custom full-log homes are used for our kits.
What should you know before you purchase a kit?
You should know your local zoning restrictions. Some municipalities have size requirements that need to be met such as width, square foot, and height. Some of these items can be overlooked if you are not connected to utilities and it’s not a permanent residence, but again please talk to your local or county zoning administrator before you make a purchase.
